WELCOME TO CRESTWOOD VILLAGE 1 GOLF CLUB
Our village has a distinctive amenity that sets us apart from all of the other Crestwood Villages.
We have a beautiful, well maintained golf course.
At 587 yards, this 9 hole gem wraps itself around the main lake behind the village clubhouse. Although the lake does not come into direct play, many a ball has been deposited into its depths due to a slightly errant shot. Additionally there are 14 strategically placed sand traps guarding the postage stamp sized greens, putting an emphasis on accurate tee shots, while the wide open fairways will be found to be very forgiving for both experienced and novice golfers alike. For most players, an even par round of 27 for the nine holes is quite satisfactory. The use of the course is open to all Village 1 residents and their guests (accompanied by resident,) free of charge.
The Village also has a Golf Club whose membership is open to all residents at a nominal annual (currently $10.00) fee. The club has a men’s, ladies and social divisions. Meetings are held monthly from January thru November with a light lunch served at each meeting. The club holds approximately 12 golf outings from April thru October, upon completion of each outing, our Social members host a “19th” hole for a small fee (currently $5.00). In addition to our meetings and outings, the club sponsors several trips to various locations around the state.
We also have a mentoring program that provides a club member to teach the basics to a new golfer, and supplies the student with a “Crestwood” set of clubs for their use, at no charge.
